Our Company

In 2017, Regional Builders Inc., (RBI) celebrated its 20th year in business.  Robert (Bob) Boyd incorporated the company in 1997 after a successful career with Preston Trucking.  Through his career in transportation, he identified the need for a cost-effective construction solution for transportation and warehousing companies.

Today, the company has evolved into a multi-faceted construction management company, which serves not only its original industrial clients, but also professional, retail, religious, and other groups. RBI has become well-known in commercial construction for standing behind their work and tailoring their services to the client’s needs. They take pride in offering a variety of ways in which clients are able to achieve their construction goals and objectives. The company has grown over the years, but the mission to offer complete and personal service to each and every client, ensuring customer satisfaction and the delivery of a quality product remains.

While Bob continues to serve as CEO of Regional Builders, he has turned the day-to-day operations over to his niece, Joan Neal, who serves as President.  Joan has over 20 years of experience in the industry and provides strategic leadership to guide the business with a continued focus on quality and community. Barry Neal, Joan’s husband, serves as the Vice President of Field Services. Barry’s unique skill set and ability to turn a customer’s vision into reality has advanced the company into new markets.  With an average employee tenure of 12 years, RBI embraces a family culture, just the way Bob intended when the company was founded.

RBI is the complete solution for all your construction needs. While many companies specialize in one area, RBI has developed a team of experts who provide a broad range of services needed throughout the process to include Pre-Construction, Project Management and Steel Erection. RBI thrives on learning more about customer’s businesses to identify unique solutions.  Joan’s personal interest and knowledge of non-profit organizations allows RBI to serve as a liaison between construction and available grant or funding opportunities. Getting RBI engaged early in the project allows the customer to utilize all of the services available including assistance with choosing a location, securing financing, architect selection and building design.

With deep ties to the community they live in and serve, an annual charity event is led and organized by the team with a different charity benefiting each year.  Past recipients include Blades Volunteer Fire Department, Nanticoke Young Life, Steps for Hope and Heroes Haven. The next tournament will be held on May 21, 2021 at Hooper’s Landing in Seaford, Delaware.

RBI continues to be committed to delivering quality service to their customers as well as building a client relationship that goes well beyond a one-year warranty.
